Compare a bicycle quote as the same delivered package
Compare bicycle quotes with the same included equipment, assembly and delivery scope, using clearly identified AUD amounts.
Updated:

Define the package before comparing the price
A bicycle quote is easier to compare when it describes the exact model, size, included equipment and delivery arrangement. Ask the seller to identify what the price covers and which items are separate. A photograph containing a light, rack or another accessory does not necessarily mean that item is included. Keep the written package description beside the amount, and use the same scope for every candidate. Otherwise, the lowest visible number may describe a different order rather than a lower price for the package you actually want.

Build a clearly labelled delivered total
For a fictional illustration, a bicycle price of AUD 800, separate assembly of AUD 50, selected accessories of AUD 75 and delivery of AUD 40 add to AUD 965. These are invented arithmetic inputs, not current offers or an estimate for a real seller. The site's delivered-quote tool adds the amounts you enter without adding tax. Use seller-confirmed amounts with applicable taxes already included, and enter zero only for a charge confirmed to be free or already included elsewhere. Leaving an unknown charge unresolved is more honest than making the total look complete.
Check exclusions as carefully as inclusions
An accessory can introduce its own missing piece. For example, Knog's current Blinder900 page says a charging cable is not supplied, while it lists particular mounts in the box. That product-specific example illustrates why the package contents matter; it does not imply every light has the same exclusions. Ask about the actual items in your proposed order and whether additional compatible equipment is needed. Keep the response linked to the exact variant and date, because a bundle title may be reused for a different combination later.
Use the price guidance without inventing a ruling
The ACCC explains that total displayed prices include taxes and unavoidable or preselected fees. Consult its current guidance for the full context rather than treating this calculator as a legal assessment of a seller's advertisement. Confirm the delivery postcode and any stated conditions with the seller before relying on a quote. The photographs in this guide show documentary equipment examples, not the fictional package or a live offer. We have not checked their current prices, stock or availability. A product image should not be used as evidence of what a particular quote includes.

Keep the final comparison auditable
Save each quote with its date, seller, exact model and included services. Compare like-for-like packages, and note any meaningful differences separately rather than hiding them inside a total. Reconfirm the amounts and terms before ordering, then check the invoice and delivery against the accepted quote. Retain correspondence about exclusions or substitutions so a later question can be traced. This method supports a clearer purchasing decision, but it does not guarantee a delivery date, determine individual consumer rights or replace the seller's current written terms. The arithmetic is useful only to the extent that the entered package and amounts are accurate.
